Mother of Mary Jo Cureton, Peter (Laura) Holland & Carol (David) Kelly. Stepmother of Elizabeth (Bill) Stevenson, Mary Catherine, Sharon (Bob) Crawford, Thomas Jr. (Kathy) & the late Ann.

Grandmother of Moira (Joe), Liam, Erin (Charlie), Matthew, Brian (Kaleen), Clare, David & Mark. Step Grandmother of William (Whitney), Catherine (Brian), Brian (Karen), Thomas III (Kavita) & Nora.

Great Grandmother of Brynn, Keegan & Margot. Step Great Grandmother of Olivia & Parker.

Daughter of the late Joseph & the late Catherine (nee O’Connor) Higgins. Sister of the late Gloria (late Jerome) Dillon & the late baby Joseph. Cousin of the late Barbara (late Phil) Delahunt.

Graduate of the Academy of Our Lady (Longwood), Mundelein College & National College of Education. Carol was a retired teacher for the City of Chicago Public Schools & served as President of both the Saint John Fisher Women’s Club and Ridge Country Club Women’s Club.
