Gordon D. Zahrenhusen

Gordon D. Zahrenhusen Age 84. Beloved husband of Margaret Zahrenhusen for 56 years. Loving son of Ruth Madel and Elmer Zahrenhusen. Wonderful uncle to nieces and nephews: Christine Cote, Lisa Sons, Cindy O’Neill, Michael Connolly, John Connolly, Mary Connolly, Colette Gentile and many great nieces and nephews and several cousins. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years from 1957-1960. Gordon was a member of Chi-Town Harley Club for years. He worked for Sears for 30 years as a Service Technician and had great buddies that met once a month for breakfast. Gordon was very unique, kind, loving, quiet, very patriotic and very handy. He will be missed. At his request, there will be no formal wake or funeral at this time, but services will be done graveside with Military Honors on Friday, July 2nd at 1pm at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th, Alsip, IL.
