Loving father of Linda (Ed) Martin, Claudia (Joe) Philipps, Cynthia Scarpaci (Denna), Mark Scarpaci & Nina (Paul) Cerpa. Proud grandfather of 11 & great grandfather of 5. Devoted son of the late Anthony & late Josephine (nee Lileikis) Scarpaci and late Paul Rumishek. Dear brother of the late Robert (late Rose) Scarpaci & Carol (Allan) Lamos. Fond uncle of 3 nephews & 2 nieces. Joe was a Teacher/School Psychologist at the Chicago Public School District for 38 years. Joe’s family will be greeting relatives and friends Sunday, December 10th, 2:00 p.m. for a Memorial Mass of Resurrection at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, 1224 W. Lexington Street, Chicago with Military Honors to follow. Burial arrangements with the U.S. Coast Guard pending. Please make donations to the charity of your choice.
