Maurice D. McClure, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at his beloved home in Palos Heights. He was born September 7, 1936, in Iowa to Miles & Eula McClure. He married Elaine McClure June 6, 1959. He worked as a Pipefitter Local 597 until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed yearly trips to Florida, playing golf and taking great pride in his home.
Beloved husband of the late Elaine McClure. Loving father of Maureen (Rich) DeMatteo and Kelly (Al) Krause. Cherished grandfather of Kaitlin (Will) Krause Todd, Kaeli Krause, Casey (Brian) Sanborn and Amy Minarcik. Devoted son of the late; Miles and Eula McClure. Dear brother of the late; Robert, Bernard and Marney. Kind uncle of many.
