Proud grandfather of Trevor (Catherine), Griffen & Madison. Dear brother of Ronald (Gaby) Erickson & late Lorraine (late Arthur) Nickel and brother-in-law of N. Richard Persson & Ronald A. (Roberta) Persson. Kind uncle of many nieces & nephews. Wonderful and Outstanding Human Being to everyone he loved and knew. Visitation Thursday, January 24th from 3 until 9 p.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights. Family & Friends will gather Friday, January 25th for a lying-in-state 10 a.m. until time service 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 W. McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights. Interment and Military Honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Veterans Home in LaSalle, 1015 O’Conor Avenue, LaSalle, IL 61301 would be appreciated.
