Thaddeus J. “Ted” Baran

Thaddeus J. “Ted” Baran age 59 of Chicago Fond Brother of Richard (Linda) Baran. Uncle of Jennifer & Gregory Baran. Dear Son of the late Maria (nee Hendzel) and Joseph Baran. Nephew of: Casmier (Mary) Hendzel, Sophie (the late Chester) Switala, Joseph J. (Bonnie) Hendzel & Emily (Walter) Wrona. He is also survived by many cousins who he enjoyed spending time with. Visitation Sunday, March 6th from 2 until 8 p.m. Chapel Prayers Monday, March 7th, 9:30 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, 7025 W. 126th Street, Palos Heights, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Ted was employed by the Chicago Park District for over 30 years. His last 20 years he was an Attendant for West Pullman Park. Per his co-workers, Ted went above and beyond on all of his assignments. He used frequent alarms to keep him on schedule and when he didn't have what he needed to get the job done, he often would pull a "MacGyver". Ted enjoyed his interactions with the staff and many of the patrons, including the children, seniors and all of the special needs group. They were truly his second family.
