Terri, the most selfless person imaginable, as described by her granddaughter, passed away in her sleep at home on January 18th. Terri enlisted into the Air Force after high school and served only 3 years because the love of her life could not stand to be without her. While being kind to those she loved, her “take no guff” attitude earned her the nick name “Ma Barker” during her career as a Cook County Sheriff Correctional Officer. Her altruistic nature lives on through her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne; loving mother of Kurt (Jeanette) and Lisa; cherished grandmother of Attiana, Scarlett, Ashton and Wyatt; devoted daughter of the late Harry and Arlene; dear sister of Larry, Harold; Jon and Sue; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
