Thomas Jundanian
Loving husband to the late Florence Jundanian. Devoted father to Thomas K. (Sidney) Jundanian, late Dr. Diane M. Jundanian and Dr. Mark K. (Dr. Marcia Dering) Jundanian. Affectionate grandfather to Keith, Dennis, late Leslie, Melissa (Patrick), Trevor, Daniel, Stephan and great grandfather to Diane. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Worcester, MA; a graduate of Northbridge High School in Whitinsville, MA and Purdue University, Lafayette, IN. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and was an ex-POW. In his retired years, he remained very active in veteran affairs, helping the widows of other former POW's receive benefits to which they were entitled. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0183 in Chicago. Tom lived a life of great example to those who knew him. He was kind, caring, generous, intelligent and talented. He instilled the highest values of integrity in his children and was admired and loved by family and a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
Visitation Tuesday, December 2nd from 4 until 9 p.m. with a chapel service at 7 p.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.
Family & Friends will gather Wednesday, December 3rd for a visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Saints Joachim and Anne Armenian Apostolic Church, 12600 S. Ridgeland Avenue, Palos Heights proceeding to Cedar Park Cemetery for committal prayers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Jundanian Fund, c/o Sts. Joachim & Anne Armenian Apostolic Church would be appreciated.
