Thomas R. Toolis, Army veteran of WWII. Beloved husband of the late Janice (nee Crossley) Toolis. Devoted son of the late; John & Maud (nee Barrett) Toolis. Dear brother of Reverend Martin Toolis of Ludington, Michigan & the late; James, Edward & John Jr. Toolis. Kind uncle of many. Tom was a member of the Men’s Club at Glen Eagles Country Club in Lemont, Illinois since the 1950’s where he played a round of golf with Arnold Palmer. He enjoyed sports, reading, music and most of all singing, some of Tom’s family and friends say the day Enrico Caruso passed away on August 2, 1921, Tom was born and inherited Caruso’s amazing voice. Funeral services and interment are private.
