During WWII Bill was a flight engineer flying 43 missions over the Himalaya Mountains traveling from India to China, carrying high octane gasoline. These missions were called "flying coffin missions" due to their dangerous nature.
Bill was retired 2nd generation co-owner of Henry Bros. Co. who built many Catholic churches and schools throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago. Most of all, Bill was a man of strong faith!
Visitation Thursday, January 8th from 2 until 9 p.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.
Family & Friends will gather for a lying-in-state Friday, January 9th, 9 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 15050 S. Wolf Road, Orland Park.
Interment Saint Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
